You know the old adage about never knowing what you're going to get? Not only does it apply to shopping at Vintage Thrift, but also, apparently, to answering the telephone. Case and point: on Friday we received a call from The Martha Stewart Show (the Martha!) inviting our customers and staff to a taping of an upcoming show on shopping thriftily--whether it be consignment, vintage, or charity shop wares.
